AmericaFor the third time in a row at Stanford Medicine MyHeart Counts, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg expressed his displeasure with the achievement.

On the runway in Stanford, California on April 28, Zuckerberg used the alias “Martin Salzburg” to avoid drawing too much attention to himself and his family.

The Meta CEO finished in 20 minutes and 35 seconds, fourth in the 40-44 age group and 33rd out of 1,214 runners.

The 40-year-old businessman posted a picture after the race on Instagram with the caption “Annual 5km run with the group. Finished with a record of more than 20 minutes.” Zuckerberg also congratulated a friend who performed better and won the age group.

Zuckerberg competes with the Nike Alphafly 3 super shoe. Meta CEO included the song “Pretty Slowly”, which means “Slightly Slowly”, by American singer Benson Boone in an Instagram post, alluding to his dissatisfaction with the 20 minutes and 35 seconds record.

Zuckerberg, who co-founded Facebook and is now the CEO of Meta, has been a regular participant in the Stanford Medicine MyHeart Counts event over the years. The race takes place around the Stanford University campus, near Meta’s headquarters in Menlo Park, and aims to raise funds for the Stanford Center for Genetic Cardiovascular Disease Research.

In 2023, Zuckerberg completed the race in 19 minutes 34 seconds 8, completing the goal of reaching sub:20. Last year, five months after knee surgery, he crossed the finish line with a time of 20 minutes and 58 seconds.

Zuckerberg is passionate about sports and often works out in his spare time. In 2016, Zuckerberg posted a series of photos of his favorite personal run to celebrate the achievement of his goal of distance for the year – 587 km – which he achieved on July 14. He revealed that he achieved the fastest pace of 3:42 (3 minutes 42 seconds per kilometer) in the same year.

Over the years, Zuckerberg has shifted to focusing more on combat sports such as mixed martial arts (MMA) and Brazilian jiu-jitsu to reduce stress.

Billionaire Elon Musk Musk once challenged Zuckerberg to an MMA match. “I am willing to participate in the cage match with Zuckerberg,” Musk wrote on June 20, 2023. “Send me the location,” Zuckerberg wrote on X the next day.

After that, the two mainly fought with each other on social networks. Zuckerberg accused Musk of not being serious about taking each other in the ring, while Musk eventually admitted that he was joking. The match between the two American tech billionaires has never taken place until now.
